Nintendo DS Videos!!!

Nintendo have recently announced a new video playing system for the nintendo ds, now you can play films, dvds and even ebooks and your favourite tv show. The new kit is a DS card with a SD card slot built in, using a USB connection you put things onto the SD card using your PC then play them back through your DS, it will cost around £20 which is brilliant considering that people brought the DS in spite of the lack of video support.

Gaming heaven.

Two giants of the gaming world are teaming up to create a super company which could rock the foundations of gaming to its very core. Call of dutys developer Activision and World of warcraft creators Blizzard are going to team up and create, “The worlds most profitable games business” in a deal worth an estimated £9.15 billion. The two companys combined will input $3 billion dollars to make the company a success, more from this as it develops.

OLPC Project

The one laptop per child project has finally been given the go ahead to be put into production. The one laptop per child project aims to give children in developing countries a laptop enabling them to work and learn at the same time, based on linux the operating system is easy to use yet powerful at the same time. The laptop , called xo has built in wireless, an infra red port and all the typical applications found in other linux distros such as ubuntu or slackware.

As you are reading this, the single greatest video game event of the year will have been released and eager gamers may have already completed it (Not mentioning any names here…..). Anyway, here is an IGN review of the best game of the year, ubisofts Assasins creed.
